Only 88 Shopping Days Left Till Christmas/Chanukah
Christmas is my favorite time of year. I shop for everyone I know just about. I love finding just the perfect gift for each person. My "REQUIRED" question is: How many people do you shop for, for Christmas and how much do you usually spend, total, each year on these presents?

I don't buy Christmas presents...never bought one...never planning to...that said, I do shop for Chanukah presents for my parents and sister. And by the way...I do appreciate your political correctness :-) |

First of all, thank you for getting me organized and making me write out my Christmas shopping list so early. My list is quite staggering considering I am from a large family and am married to a man from a large family. Then, considering that I live in the San Francisco Bay Area where the cost of living is quite high, and the fact that I choose to stay home with my kids and not have the double income that would be comforting, we try to keep the total cost down. Having explained that much, I shop for 33 people (if I am not forgetting anyone on my early list) and spend in the neighborhood of $1500 (with more than enough going to my 3 little munchkins, of course). |

Apparently the Christmas day counter I used was on based on some other planets calendar
I have changed the number in teh thread to be a tad more accurate.

This doesn't include my son's birthday at the end of November (along with 4 other family members for which we buy presents) and my husband's in December.
