Now that you've met our 14 players,
let's talk about the tools they have to work with. Below is the player's
toolbox. This is their lifeline in the game of Cyber Mole.
From top to bottom these are the various items designated to help the players out. Cyber Vault. This is where they keep track of the money that has been made available during the various games and how much is actually put into the vault as a result of those games. Player Debriefing - Unlike the television show "The Mole", we don't send the players off in a car, never to be heard from again. We have created a place where the executed player is taken, interviewed, and counseled about leaving the game. Hopefully we can answer any questions they might have at this point since their departure from the group is rather sudden. This link is only active on execution nights. Chat - Twice a week the players get to use the chat room. On execution / game nights and on Last Supper nights. These are the only times the players can actually communicate and whisper to each other in a real time environment. Quiz - When this light is turned on that means it is time for the players to take their next quiz. Each tuesday the light is turned on and remains active until the next morning. The quiz is what determines who stays and who goes. Player Profiles - Much like the dossier page you get to see, the Player Profiles section is the one spot where the other players can go to learn about the other players. Each week additional details are added to the players profiles that may or may not help them determine who the Cyber Mole is. Communication Center - This is the heart of the Cyber Mole game. An elaborate message board system that contains the General Message boards, the Coalition boards, the Players Journals, and the Puzzles that the players must work on each week. It is here that the players get their various instructions throughout the week. Players are constantly being challenged having only the weekends to rest. Waiting Room - This room opens 1 hour before the game starts. In this room each week are the clues to the various games the players will be facing. A player that studies this room carefully should have a distinct advantage over the other players when it comes challenge time. E-Mail Another Player - This is a slow and tedious method for the players to contact each other if the chat rooms are closed and they are not in a coalition with them. They can use this old fashioned and somwhat unreliable courier system to pass a message to any other player in the game. This method is the only way the players have to set up coalitions at the beginning of the game. E-Mail The Staff - We are very concerned about our players and try to remain accessable most times of the day. If a player runs into any kind of snag, it is here where they can send a message to get help. Solutions - After the games have been completed we like to show the players how the games were to be solved. Not only do we divuldge the solutions but we also reveal the clues that pointed to both the games and their solutions. Just to show them that it could be done. |
